Land Use/Real Estate Attorney – St. Helena (Napa County)

CMPR currently seeking a transactional attorney with experience in land use and commercial real estate transactions, primarily for its wine industry practice. Useful experience includes winery and vineyard development and expansions, acquisitions, land use, title review, and financings. The ideal candidate has 4 - 7 years’ experience in these areas, strong academic credentials with excellent communication, research, and writing skills. $155,000 - $175,000 plus bonuses, depending on experience.

Commercial Litigation Attorney (Mid-Level Associate)

CMPR is seeking a mid-level civil litigation attorney with at least four years’ relevant experience, preferably in commercial, real estate and employment litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in brief writing, law and motion, discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediation, trial preparation, second chair trial experience and appeals. $155,000 - $165,000 plus bonuses, depending on experience.

This position requires in-office work.

Law Firm Receptionist/Office Admin

CMPR is seeking a full-time receptionist/office admin. Qualified candidate must have background experience with multi-line phones and possess strong computer skills. The best candidate will be mature, friendly, professional with a good sense of discretion and excellent communication skills. Law firm experience preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all visitors Answer calls on multi-line phone system
  • Open, scan and distribute all mail
  • Maintain email spam filters
  • Assist with billing – running reports and editing
  • Maintain monthly/yearly attorney time spreadsheet
  • Maintain clean/orderly kitchen
  • Stock kitchens and supply rooms
  • Report equipment and building maintenance issues
  • Maintain office supply inventory and order as necessary
  • Conference rooms – Schedule, provide refreshments, set-up and clean-up
  • Assist in planning firm events
  • Various admin duties, including occasional errands
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel, TABS and NetDocs, a plus

This position must work in-office. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
