Mr. Carle has had extensive experience in commercial and civil litigation in federal and state courts representing clients in real estate and environmental law, contracts, partnership dissolution, unfair competition and other business torts, condemnation and construction defects, and employment law. Mr. Carle has substantial real estate transactional experience in land use, leasing, development, purchase and sales documentation (he is a licensed real estate broker). He has helped form and/or served on the Boards of several non-profit entities. As a principal he is active in real estate development in the North Bay, involved in all aspects from acquisition, entitlement, construction and sale and leasing. That experience provides a unique outlook for clients of the law firm. He represents wineries and other business clients before public agencies on land use and other regulatory matters. His family is active in the grape growing industry in Sonoma County and they are one of three families which own a winery in Mendocino County. He represents a number of businesses as their General Corporate Counsel, providing a wide range of legal services as well as advice on operational and general business matters. In addition to serving as Judge pro tem for Sonoma County Superior Court, Mr. Carle serves as a private arbitrator and mediator. Mr. Carle was a partner at Anderson, Zeigler, Disharoon, Gallagher & Gray, and partner at Marron, Reid & Sheehy prior to founding Carle, Mackie, Power & Ross LLP in 1998.
