Stephen-Béla is an associate practicing within the firm’s corporate and business transactions group, with a particular focus on affordable housing, tax credit and real estate finance.
Prior to joining CMPR, Stephen-Béla was associated with Carr & Ferrell LLP, where he counseled institutional investors and start-ups (early, growth, and late stage) on financings and related corporate matters, and previously held clerkships at the Institute of International Finance, Internal Revenue Service, Office of the National Taxpayer Advocate, and the investment management law firm of Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP.
During law school, he was elected to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Skills Board, serving for a term on its Executive Board as Treasurer, and was a Senior Staff Member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.
An avid sports enthusiast on his spare time, you can find him attempting to improve his CrossFit strength standards, skiing, playing golf, or willing any one of his local sports teams to another championship; he also has a penchant for art and cinema.
