Jessica served as in-house counsel for a portfolio of 16 wine-related legal entities spanning the United States and France prior to joining Carle, Mackie, Power & Ross.
In her former role, Jessica advised executive leadership on a wide range of critical business matters, including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, international transactions, contracts, land use, intellectual property, and privacy. Her experience includes navigating beverage alcohol shipping constraints, post-Wayfair nexus implications, legislative developments, reporting obligations, and e-commerce requirements to ensure the compliant operation of a multi-million-dollar DTC business, and orchestrating a comprehensive distilled spirits launch plan that included excise tax modeling, production strategy, label creation, licensing & permitting structure, regulatory reporting, inventory management, and systems integration.
