Scott Reynolds - Associate
Mr. Reynolds practices as a member of the firm’s transactional group, with extensive experience in real estate and general corporate matters. He represents clients in connection with all stages of the real estate investment life cycle, including the acquisition, finance, development and construction, space and ground leasing, asset management, and disposition of all classes of real property assets. On the corporate side, he has particular experience in the negotiation and documentation of joint ventures, partnership and limited liability company agreements for both established and newly-formed entities, and general strategic planning and advising. As a partner in a family-owned food and beverage business, Mr. Reynolds brings to the table a personal understanding of the risks, challenges, and opportunities that face start-ups and other growth-oriented companies. Whether advising individuals, private equity funds, large REITs, or governmental entities, he focuses on accomplishing client objectives with clarity, efficiency, and skill.
Mr. Reynolds began his career in the mergers and acquisitions department of a multi-national New York-based firm. Following a position as in-house counsel for an Inc. 500 Los Angeles-based real estate investment company, he practiced at a boutique real estate firm in Santa Monica, California for nearly a decade, prior to joining Carle, Mackie, Power & Ross, LLP in August 2017.
Mr. Reynolds lives in rural Sonoma County with his wife, Evelyn, and their dog and cats. There they enjoy hiking, gardening, and other activities in the great outdoors when the weather permits, and cooking, literature, and other quieter pursuits when it does not.
